Medical Malpractice

Evaluating a medical malpractice case can be a daunting task for any law firm. This is especially true if the case involves the administration of a medication which may have resulted in potential harm to the patient. Determining causation and assessing “standard of care” can oftentimes present numerous challenges.

At Chapmanetics, we have more than 15 years of experience in reviewing medical malpractice cases. We have well established methods for assessing Causation and Standard of Care. By applying the principles of pharmacology and pharmacokinetics, we are uniquely qualified to evaluate appropriateness of dosing issues e.g. was the medication necessary, was the dose correct, was the reported harm caused by the medication, etc. We also provide pharmacokinetic modeling when necessary to further assess probability. As a result, we are more than capable of assessing causation and in matters related to the prescribing, preparation, dispensing, administration and monitoring of a medication, we can also assess Standard of Care issues.

We are available for deposition and trial, if necessary. For more information on our Expert Witness Service, we invite you to contact us at info@chapmanetics.com or call 888-732-7847 to discuss your case.
